Indo 21: SaPa – LaoChai – TaVan – GiangTaChai – CocLy Market (4 Days – 5 Nights)

Day 1: Hanoi – LaoCai
Transfer from hotel 8:00 PM to train station for the night train to LaoCai at 9:00 PM.

Day 2: SaPa – LaoChai Village – TaVan Village (Sunday)
Arrive in LaoCai at 6:00 AM pick up and transfer to SaPa. Check in hotel. Breakfast, Get down to a valley, and visit an H’mong village and the hydroelectric power station built by the French. Take a small path to visit other 2 villages of the H’mong and the Dzay people. Stay in TaVan at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the local family. Overnight at TaVan village. Day 3: TaVan Village – GiangTaChai Village – SaPa (Monday)
After breakfast, take the road to GiangTaChai village to see the Red Dzao people via the paths thru terraces and bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall, a suspension bridge. Picnic lunch and cross the river. Visit an H’mong village up to the mountain. Drive back to SaPa. Visit the ancient stone circle on the way back. Check in hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 4: SaPa – CocLy Market – Boat Trip on Chay River (Tuesday)
Breakfast at the hotel. Early leave SaPa for CocLy market 6situated far from SaPa. Enjoy the peaceful life of different minority peoples (Flower H’mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another’s experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay River. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high Rock Mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – BaoNhai and then drive back to LaoCai Station for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi. Free time until transfer to hotel or to airport for departure.
