Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi
Arrive at Noi Bai airport. Welcome then transfer to hotel. Check in. The balance of the day is free for leisure. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi. (D)
Day 2: Hanoi
Full day Hanoi city tour of the charming capital Hanoi city including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One-Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, Temple of Literature, Restored Sword Lake, the Old Quarter of “36 streets of 36 wares”. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi (B, D)
Day 3: Hanoi – Haiphong – Halong (Road)
Drive 160km to Halong city. Via Haiphong stop at Haiphong colonial port to visit HangKenh Temple and Du Hang Pagoda, and a carpet making factory. Lunch at restaurant in Haiphong. Arrive in Halong by afternoon. Check in hotel. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Halong (B, L, D)
Day 4: Halong Bay
Early morning take 4-hour boat cruise through the spectacular Halong Bay while enjoying a fresh seafood lunch on board. Afternoon, return by road to Hanoi en route stop at Bat Trang village where the famous blue and white pottery is produced. Arrive in Hanoi at late afternoon. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi- Ninh Binh/ Hoalu- Hanoi (Road)
Enjoy a 70km drive through the rural northern Vietnam to the site of Vietnam’s first capital-HoaLu. Situated on the edge of the Red River Delta in a narrow valley surrounded by Limestone Mountains. After visiting the two remain sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, lunch at restaurant, Afternoon take enjoyments from a relaxing ride on small sampans on the river as we can row through winding rivers cutting through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred TamCoc Caves. Return to Hanoi for dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Departure
Free morning for leisure and shopping until transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure.
